Survivor: Game Changers: Third Tribe Name Leaked
With an early tribe swap and move to three tribes set for episode 3 of Survivor: Game Changers, the name of the ‘green’ tribe has leaked
Fans who live for the Jeff Probst catch-phrases of Survivor lore won’t have to wait long to hear one of his best in Survivor: Game Changers. In episode 3, just six days into the game and one week after the premier, we’ll be blessed with “Drop your buffs” as a tribe switch is coming. It was confirmed before the start of the season and then again in the preview for the episode, “Survivor Jackpot.”
With 18 castaways remaining, season 34 is not only shaking up the tribes, but shaking up the number of tribes. In addition to the already existing Mana and Nuku tribes (red and blue buffs, respectively), there will be a third tribe coming into the fold. Because of several images from the preseason, including one of Boston Rob’s children getting ready for the new season, all talk about the move to three tribes has referred to the third as the “green” tribe as that’s the color of the buff.
However, we no longer have to refer to it in that regard. According to Martin Holmes (aka Redmond) of Inside Survivor on Twitter, the name of the third tribe has been leaked as Tavua:
From the preview for episode 3, we already know the six members that will make up the new Nuku tribe. Those members will be J.T. Thomas, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Malcolm Freberg, Aubry Bracco, Jeff Varner and Michaela Bradshaw. However, that still leaves us with 12 other players that we don’t know which tribe they’ll be sent to, Mana or Tavua.

That could be critical at such an early stage in the game. With the alliances already starting to form on Survivor: Game Changers, splitting them up could really leave some players in a tough spot. Meanwhile, other players could find new life as a result. Therefore, where everyone lands will be the most intriguing aspect to start episode 3. But for now, at least we know that it’ll be Nuku, Mana and Tavua from here on until the merge—or so it seems.
