3 Things We Hope To Get From Survivor Game Changers Tribe Swap
Survivor Game Changers has an early tribe swap coming that will also move to three tribes of six players, but what good things need to come of that?
The buffs will be dropped in episode 3 of Survivor Game Changers. In a twist revealed in the preseason hype (and confirmed by Jeff Probst), there’s going to be an exceptionally early tribe swap in season 34. What’s more, the 18 remaining players won’t be just shuffling between the two existing tribes, Mana and Nuku. Instead, a third tribe will be added, splitting the castaways into tribes of six.
Every time there is a tribe swap in Survivor, it always has major implications on the game. Alliances are unwillingly severed, potential boot candidates are saved by being able to find allies on their new tribe and new feuds between players start to surface. It’s going to be even more interesting in Game Changers, though, to see how greatly the game is affected with it coming after just two boots and with the division to three tribes.
Of course, there’s the potential for the same things that we normally see from swaps to transpires. Some early, budding alliances could well be torn apart and leave players searching for new answers. But the wrinkle to that given the circumstances of Survivor Game Changers is that some smaller alliances could now come into power if kept together on a six-player tribe.
All that we as fans can ask, however, is that the results of the swap make for good television. Fans may lock on to a favorite player—particularly with an all-returnee cast—and only hope for the best for that castaway. For the most part, though, having a quality show with good drama and game play is all that anyone desires. With that in the forefront, these are three things (among many others, certainly) that we hope to see from the tribe swap on Game Changers.
