1. Malcolm and Michaela’s Budding Feud Boiling Over

Just look at Michaela’s face while Malcolm is throwing the ring in the second Immunity Challenge of Survivor Game Ghangers. That’s pure disdain looking at him. And in fairness, she ultimately had a right to be angry at Malcolm when the challenge had finished. Not only did they lose the challenge, but the edit suggested the Malcolm could’ve tagged Michaela in for the final toss and chose not to. This left Michaela fuming and the seeds planted for something larger on the horizon.

With the tribe swap comes Michaela and Malcolm staying together as members of the new Nuku tribe, as was spoiled in the episode preview. For however long that those two are in the game together without another swap or the merge, they are going to be together. And for the sake of good television and drama, let’s hope that they also remain at odds and that the rift between them only grows.

If you need convincing as to why a feud with two such strong players is something that every fan should want, re-watch the ending of episode 1 (or 2, technically) and see how wonderful Sandra vs. Tony plays out on TV. Part of that is because of the editing that focused so heavily on the Queen and King. However, another part of that is because rivalry can be every bit as good as partnership. As these two stay members of Nuku, let’s hope that they’re at odds and that the race to vote the other out begins.
