Survivor: Game Changers Episode 4 Photos Seem to Suggest Two Challenges
Survivor: Game Changers looks like it may very well have two separate challenges in its fourth episode, “The Tables Have Turned.”
For the most part, the latest batch of photos from CBS when it comes to Survivor: Game Changers deal with the challenges. After last week showed nothing but the few moments before the swap, it’ll be fun to dig deep (you just read that in Jeff Probst’s voice, admit it) into what appear to be two challenges.
First up, we’ll combine a ball maze with a blindfold challenge. Let’s start with the blindfold portion of the event, shall we?

That’s Andrea and Sarah as one of the blindfolded pairs for Tavua. What exactly are they collecting? It’s not immediately apparent. Perhaps the goal is to reach the water tower visible in this shot?

Cirie will do the calling for Tavua. Zeke and Ozzy will also participate. Presumably, this means Troyzan will sit this one out.

There’s Varner doing the same for Nuku. You can actually spot J.T., Malcolm, Michaela, and Aubry in the above shot that prominently features Sarah and Andrea. That likely means that Sandra sits out for Nuku. Since you can’t sit people back to back, that may mean this is an immunity challenge. That is, Nuku may have let Sandra play in the reward to sit her for immunity.

Now this is a bit mysterious, though. If you look closely at the bench behind Jeff Probst, you can only see Troyzan sitting. It appears that Sandra is the only person unaccounted for.

There’s Sandra, though, and there are the water towers we’ve also already seen. Crisis averted, Sandra fans, for now. This appears to confirm that this will likely be the immunity challenge. Sitting her out on those is a tradition dating back to Pearl Islands.

Mana has to have all of its players participate, because they’re down in numbers. Other photos on CBS’ press page show Brad will also direct his tribemates during the first portion of this challenge.
Why do we keep insisting there are two challenges? Check the below photo out.

That looks absolutely nothing like the blindfold/maze challenge, does it? No.

It appears that the goal of this challenge is to balance the balls on poles through an obstacle course, at least in the first portion. Perhaps the balls then unlock something?

That seems to be the case. Note the open crate next to Troyzan. He seems to be throwing sandbags at the nearby targets to try and knock them down. This also helps confirm that there are two challenges — one for him to participate in and one for him to sit out on.

Two people have shots featuring them at camp. Both are part of Nuku. The first is Michaela, seen at the top of this post, sitting in the hammock. The second is Aubry here. Don’t read too much into this, but it suggests that the new Nuku will again get some focus after the goat discussion and J.T.’s idol hunting from episode 3.
What details have we missed? Do you think there’s anything important to the two camp shots of Aubry and Michaela? Sound off in the comments below.
