Survivor: Game Changers Episode 4 Synopsis: “The Tables Have Turned”
Next week’s episode of Survivor: Game Changers may not have another tribal shuffle, but it sounds like the game won’t settle down, either.
Survivor: Game Changers keeps rolling on next week, and by “keeps rolling on” we may very well mean “keeps throwing its players for multiple loops just to see what happens.” You know what? We’re here for it. Watching these old hands of Survivor keeping up has been pretty entertaining so far, even if it’s also sparked discussions on the ethics of killing goats as of late.
Without further ado, though, let’s dive into CBS’ synopsis for next week’s episode, “The Tables Have Turned.”
"“‘The Tables Have Turned’ – A dramatic twist in the game sends shockwaves through the tribes. Also, castaways are flying blind at a classic immunity challenge, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 22 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”"
First, let’s start with the confirmation of what the immunity challenge is. As we suspected in our photo analysis, the blindfold challenge will be what the players will have to go through in order to avoid a not-so-romantic evening with Jeff Probst at Tribal Council. That comes as little surprise. However, there’s no mention here of what appears to be the second challenge we’ll see next week. Perhaps talking about it would spoil too much? In that same photo analysis, we suspected that the second challenge would be for a reward, and that reward could very well have something to do with the twist.
However, that would likely require more than one twist. After all, the episode 4 preview that aired at the end of this week’s episode revealed that there will be a double Tribal Council, one for each of the tribes that loses the immunity challenge. Yes, that’s right: second place won’t be safe this time. It’s win or pick somebody off from your own tribe.
Who will name the episode? We don’t know that just yet. Presumably it may be someone speaking about the situation on Nuku. The same preview hinted at the situation again changing there, particularly for Sandra. Perhaps J.T. will say it, since he would benefit most from any shift in the situation.
