Survivor: Game Changers Episode 5 Synopsis: Dirty Deed
The Survivor: Game Changers synopsis for episode 5 doesn’t reveal much more than what we’ve already seen in previews, but could it be misleading?
When there’s a big Tribal Council in Survivor, the next episode is almost always concerned in a major way with the fallout. That’s true of any show that has a narrative — and of course, Survivor has a narrative too. There’s a reason why we read the edit on every single episode.
As you probably know by now, Game Changers did have a massive Tribal Council in its fourth episode. We’ve broken it down.
But now it’s time for the fallout, and hoo boy, it sounds like there’s about to be some fallout. Check out the below synopsis, released directly by CBS:
"“‘Dirty Deed’ – One castaway searches for an immunity idol they desperately need in order to stay in the game, and another castaway throws their game off balance after they lose their cool, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”"
Look, we almost certainly know which two castaways we’re discussing here. The first is J.T. He has already had to search for the hidden immunity idol on Nuku once, since he’s outnumbered by former Mana members 4-1. So far, we’ve seen one hidden at camp and another hidden at a challenge. Prior to the season starting, Jeff Probst promised absolutely no consistency in how the idols will be hidden. Keep that in mind as the season continues.
The second, per the preview that aired after episode 4, is going to be Debbie on Mana, but what exactly is she so upset about? That, we’re not so sure on. At this point, Mana should be riding high. They pulled off a major upset at the double Tribal Council. Granted, Tavua’s still up in numbers, but only by one. It’s likely something at camp. Could it be Brad’s actions? He certainly has emerged as a leader, and that could set her off.
