The promo for Survivor: Game Changers’ fifth episode may not have much new footage, but what is new is very intriguing indeed.

As per usual, we have a good amount of information about next’s week’s episode of Survivor: Game Changers already. We’ve seen both challenges in photo form, and we’ve looked at the synopsis for the episode, “Dirty Deed.” However, there is always something about seeing some actual footage. That’s what makes even the 30-second previews so important when it comes to Survivor prognostication.

Speaking of 30-second previews, here’s this week’s.

We predicted in our synopsis post that J.T. would be in trouble. In fact, he’s even at the bottom of our power rankings this week. Is it any surprise that Sandra is ready to take him out for good after that debacle of a Tribal Council? Her confessional in the preview really does make it a bit more obvious that she intends to be the last former winner standing in Game Changers, though. It appears that it was shot at night, too, so presumably the plans will start on Night 11 — right after Tribal.

Debbie’s frustration was also a known quantity; we spotted it in the preview at the end of episode 4. However, on a second look, she appears to be speaking to Brad. Now, it could be that we’re being misled here, but that seems like a stretch.

Now, though, we get to the interesting part. Midway through, you can spot a Sarah confessional where she says the following:

"“I’m completely playing this game like a criminal. I know how to lie to these people.”"

That’s an interesting choice, since all of the previous evidence, especially the synopsis, led us to think that “Dirty Deed” will mostly be about Mana and Nuku. This suggests that Tavua may spend a bit more time in the spotlight than initially expected. After all, Troyzan does have that hidden immunity idol. That’s practically a guarantee of drama, though we thought it would likely be delayed because of Tavua’s relative strength.

What do you think? Can Survivor fit in two challenges and dramatic twists and turns for all three tribes into just one hour? Or is the Sarah confessional a red herring? Let us know what you think.
