The Chopping Block

Mana – Hali

Next: Let’s Rank the Survivor Seasons by Their Locations

The Survivor Game Changers edit we’ve gotten so far is that no one really trusts Hali. Unless Mana talks themselves into booting their strongest post-merge challenge threat in Brad, there’s no reason why Hali will survive another week.

Nuku – Sandra

J.T. has been the only remaining member of the original Mana tribe for two episodes and his showing at last week’s Tribal will result in an early outsider edit no matter what. For the reasons already listed, Sandra is still the smart target if push comes to shove. She’s a valuable goat but a Survivor jury has already proven that they’re willing to reward a previous winner if their gameplay is solid. She doesn’t offer much in challenges. Nuku would be wise to use their next lose to take the Queen off the board.

Tavua – Troyzan; Ozzy

The six-day-old Tavua tribe hasn’t had much screen time since Troyzan found a Hidden Immunity Idol. The Ozzy-Troyzan duo is strong and could run the table to the merge if they stay together. Between Troyzan’s outsider status in Tavua and his Idol, plus Ozzy’s challenge beast reputation, the likes of Zeke and Cirie would be smart to let the alpha dogs duke it out while the more cerebral players fly under the radar.
