Nobody can believe Malcolm went home and there’s peanut butter and jelly to be had in the Survivor Game Changers episode 5 sneak peek.

It’s okay if you’re still in shock about the way that latest Survivor Game Changers Tribal Council played out. Between the twist of two tribes (Nuku and Mana) voting out just one player and that player ultimately being Malcolm Freberg, it’s one of the most unforgettable moments in Survivor history.

What gets overlooked as fans get caught up in the calamity of that Tribal Council is that there’s still a great deal of game left to be played. That, of course, will begin with Survivor Game Changers episode 5 entitled “Dirty Deed.”

You’ll remember that, as of the end of the last episode, the Tavua tribe still has no idea about everything that transpired at Tribal Council. That extends all the way to the fact that they don’t know that only one person was voted out.

So you can imagine their shock when they see a still-five-person Mana tribe walk onto the beach followed by a Malcolm-less Nuku tribe for the following Reward Challenge. That’s what we get a glimpse of in the Survivor Game Changers episode 5 sneak peak, released by CBS on Monday:

Yeah, yeah, shock and awe. But there’s also peanut butter and jelly—and milk! After a week and a half deserted on island, that’ll make you forget about any shocking developments pretty quick. Dare I say, it might even have the winning tribe dancing like a banana?

In terms of the game, though, there is potentially some strong foreshadowing in this sneak peek for “Dirty Deed.” In the midst of the shock that Malcolm is gone, Ozzy is called upon to express why it’s so important. He discusses the strength of a player like Malcolm and how his absence could now change the face of Survivor Game Changers.

Of all the takeaways from Tribal Council last week, this might be the most overlooked aspect. Put simply, Nuku could be in major trouble. While dangerous as a player, Malcolm was a force when it comes to challenges. Now the tribe as a whole is severely diminished in regards to the their ability to win challenges. Perhaps Ozzy’s assessment is a bit of a hint that’s how things are going to play out.
