Former players always have plenty to say throughout most episodes and that was surely the case in Survivor Game Changers episode 6
SPOILERS for Survivor Game Changers obviously lie ahead as we look at the reactions from former players throughout the episode.
Following the boot of J.T. Thomas last week, Survivor Game Changers was about to get shaken up once again. We saw from the preview for episode 6 “Vote Early, Vote Often” that there would be another #DropYourBuffs tribe swap. What’s more, we were promised the return of Exile Island and the return of a former player. Needless to say, they weren’t about to stop pulling out twists.
However, the episode began back at the Nuku camp following Sandra Diaz-Twine and Michaela Bradshaw taking out J.T. That left Aubry in admiration of The Queen’s gameplay, which some took notice of:
Aubry recognizes Sandra is queen but is the only one who says "I need to learn from her" rather than "I need to vote her out asap" #survivor

That's it @aubrybracco learn from the Queen then you can beat the Queen #survivor

Then came the tribe swap that was promised, something every former Survivor player is familiar with and had thoughts about:
#dropyourbuffs let's gooooo #survivor

#DROPYOURBUFFS can be the greatest phrase ever or the worst depending on where you are. Stressed for my faves #survivor

As they all looked for their new buffs, though, Debbie Wanner was left without one and sent to Exile Island. In the process, she also happened to mention that she you used to go off alone with her pony…alright, then:
Did Debbie leave a pony country to come to a non-pony country? #Survivor

Debbie is the odd (wo)man out, as it were. If she goes to whichever tribe wins, you throw the challenge, right??? #survivor
— Eliza Orlins (@elizaorlins) April 6, 2017
Debbie on exile should be amazing TV #Survivor
— Will Wahl (@window2wahl) April 6, 2017
That's ok. Debbie doesn't bond well with others anyways.
— Rupert Boneham (@RupertBoneham) April 6, 2017
This season has everything! Is there going to be Redemption Island next episode? #survivor
— Alexis Maxwell (@alexis_maxwell) April 6, 2017
However, the twists kept coming as it was revealed that going to Exile Island wasn’t a bad thing on Survivor Game Changers. Instead, Debbie was going to stay on a yacht and eat her heart out:
Mkay, why couldn't have @JeffProbst have come up with this idea for exile on any of my seasons? @survivorcbs #SurvivorGameChangers

After spending some luxurious alone time, though, a boat pulled up and good ol’ John Cochran was aboard. He got to spend some one-on-one time with Debbie giving advice. Debbie was also exceptionally grateful, giving him a forceful kiss and an awkwardly long hug. What’s more, she also got her pick of an advantage, choosing the extra vote:
Sorry @nickmaiorano looks like you've lost @DebbieDonWan to @JohnMCochran. That's like Tom Brady losing Gisele to me. #Survivor
— Neal Gottlieb (@nealhgottlieb) April 6, 2017
Cochran's paranoia is a perfect complement to Debbie's overconfidence. #Survivor
— Eliza Orlins (@elizaorlins) April 6, 2017
Cue cheesy porn music. #Survivor
— Neal Gottlieb (@nealhgottlieb) April 6, 2017
What the hell is with all those kisses from Debbie??? Cochran's a dead man #Survivor
— Nick Maiorano (@nickmaiorano) April 6, 2017
Cochran himself even weighed in on the visit with Debbie:
It was pretty cool to finally find out what it feels like to be a non-playable character in an RPG #survivor
— John Cochran (@JohnMCochran) April 6, 2017
For the record, Debbie was totally sweet and charming and self-aware and fun to talk with. No spontaneous pushups! #survivor
— John Cochran (@JohnMCochran) April 6, 2017
We also had the challenge that was a grueling one that went from water to land, featured pulling a sled filled with heavy puzzle pieces and left even those watching feeling tired:
Debbie could've pulled that sled on her own if she'd been there. She's a former bodybuilder, you know. #Survivor
— Eliza Orlins (@elizaorlins) April 6, 2017
This looks so exhausting omg #survivor
— Alexis Maxwell (@alexis_maxwell) April 6, 2017
After Nuku lost, Tai Trang and his two idols went to Tribal Council and, as is becoming habit this season, things broke down. It should have been cut and dry, but Tai complicated things by trying to devise some sort of impromptu and ridiculous ruse:
OMG TAI!!!! That guy cannot keep his mouth shut. #Survivor
— Eliza Orlins (@elizaorlins) April 6, 2017
There's always one. One A-hole who talks to much. And that A-hole is you Tai smdfh #survivor
— Gervase Peterson (@SayGerv) April 6, 2017
In the end, though, everyone stuck to the plan and it was two-time winner Sandra that was sent home. We’ll only included two reactions here, but for full reactions to her boot, you can check out this link:
The Queen has abdicated! #Survivor
