Although the photos don’t show what the reward of Survivor: Game Changers episode 7 will be, it does appear to show that the players are very excited.

As has become the norm, CBS has put out a number of photos from the upcoming episode of Survivor: Game Changers, “What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile.” The first thing we can conclude is that the merge won’t happen unless it drops at the very end of the episode. Why do we say that? Well, there are two challenges shown, and neither of them are for individuals.

Let’s start with the reward, as it’ll come first in the episode. (CBS even uploaded these images first.)

We note that Michaela has already started scoping out the reward challenge course here, while everyone else walks in.

Everyone’s excited about this reward except perhaps Debbie, who just spent three days on a boat and got to eat and drink to her heart’s content. Presumably, after this still, she acted a touch more enthusiastic.

Here’s a view of the first portion of the course. Look over Sierra’s head and keep that bag in mind for later. You can just see a blue pole on the left side, so that’s where the course is for Nuku.

It looks like three players (Michaela, Hali, and Sierra for Mana, as you can see above), have to run around the pole to untangle themselves. It appears to release something, as well, as shown by the following photo:

Here’s Aubry untying a set of planks. Look at Hali’s hand, though; she’s holding what may be a ring of keys, which may have dropped from the ropes after they were untangled. As you can see here, Troyzan isn’t wearing a belt, so it looks like it’s just three players around the Maypole to start.

The planks create a ladder (it looks like it’s not a true puzzle, but that could just be because everything here looks askew), and the first person over, in this case Cirie, has to grab a bag.

By paying attention to who’s wearing belts here, we can conclude that Ozzy, Sarah, and Andrea handle the rope portion for Nuku. Anyway, judging by the shape of the bag from Mana, it contains a ball, and then the players will need to catapult it into something. What that something is, we don’t quite know.

As for the net behind them, it looks like everyone will need to shimmy through and then tumble or run down.

If the reward challenge is dry, the immunity challenge is wet, at least for this episode of Survivor. Anyway, it looks like the players will have to swim out. Whether that’s part of the challenge or not, we don’t quite know.

You can spot Brad in the water for Mana right by Ozzy’s arm. From this, it seems like they’ll need to pull the raft along and collect buoys on the way. Where are the other three players on each tribe?

Well, there’s five of the Mana members, including Michaela. Anyway, the buoys have letters, so they’ll need to unscramble presumably a single word by hanging them in the correct order. It’s hard to tell exactly how many there are because Michaela’s blocking it in this shot and the one with Jeff Probst talking to both tribes doesn’t show the top rung. A safe guess would be somewhere in the range of 12 or 13.

There are all seven Nuku members, so we expect that Probst will elaborate on where the other three are for Mana.

What do you think of these two challenges? Will there be narrow victories, or will we see blowouts instead?
