Ozzy Lusth survived for at least 14 days on Survivor Game Changers, which puts him in a position that no one before has ever been in.
Coming into Survivor Game Changers, the 34th playing of the game, “Boston Rob” Mariano held the record for the most cumulative days spent playing the game of Survivor. Over the course of four seasons (including one win in his final time playing), Boston Rob played the game a total of 117 days. That’s impressive considering the toll that 39 days has on some of these players.
However, Game Changers offered a potentially interesting situation in regards to Boston Rob’s record. Both Ozzy Lusth and Cirie Fields were returning for their fourth time playing the game. As such, they both theoretically had the opportunity before them to possibly break Mariano’s record. Ozzy, however, was closer as he entered Game Changers having already played 104 days.
In episode 6 of Survivor Game Changers, “Vote Early, Vote Often,” Day 14 came and went. And with that 14th day, Ozzy Lusth officially surpassed Boston Rob for the most days spent playing Survivor. And by the end of the episode, it was Day 16 and he was still in the game. Thus, he’s at 120 days and counting entering episode 7.
It wasn’t just Ozzy making a bit of history in the episode, however, as Cirie also reached a milestone. During episode 6, she reached triple digits in terms of cumulative days spent playing Survivor, becoming just the sixth player to ever achieve that feat.

There’s at least a feasible chance that Ozzy puts the record for most days played truthfully out of reach. However, I doubt he truthfully cares about having spent 120 days and beating Boston Rob. Ultimately, the safe bet is that he’d rather tie Boston Rob and 31 other people in being named Sole Survivor and winning the $1 million. The fourth time was the charm for Boston Rob—will it be the same for Ozzy?
