We already knew the merge and a twist was coming in Survivor Game Changers episode 8, but the sneak peek preview shows the anxiety leading up to it.

Survivor Game Changers will now look to put the ugly events of the last Tribal Council behind as we move into episode 8 and the merge. The episode is entitled “There’s A New Sheriff In Town,” derived from a line delivered by Sierra Dawn-Thomas. However, the most important thing that we know is that this won’t be a simple merge.

From the synopsis for Survivor Game Changers episode 8, we know that there will be another twist coming at the merge. What exactly that twist entails remains to be seen. We do know that it doesn’t take the players a long time to figure that out from the sneak peek preview of “There’s A New Sheriff In Town.”

As has been the case with these sneak peeks, the tribes are shown walking onto the beach. They first notice the merge feast before them, which is obviously enticing. However, there is also a table with a sheet over it sitting beside Jeff Probst. Everyone is wary of what’s underneath and what it means for the game and the merge.

With the cast whittled down to 13 players and with roughly three weeks of game play under their belts at this point, it has to take something big to take their attention away from the feast. But another twist at this point in the game will certainly do that.

If nothing else, the 34th season of Survivor has been full of twists. With an early tribe switch that included a move to three tribes, the return of Exile, Immunity Idols being hidden at challenges and a joint Tribal with one vote, the twists have kept coming. So it would only make sense that they’d bring another one along for the merge. The only question is what it means for the game and the remaining players.
