Ozzy Lusth and Hali Ford go out for some adventures together in Fiji for Ozzy’s Survivor Ponderosa video as the second jury member.

Considering that Ozzy didn’t win the first individual immunity challenge and still managed to survive the merge tribal council, it was nothing short of a miracle. Why would he be given more chances to go on a long run of challenge wins? The other Survivor Game Changers players smartened up eventually, sending Ozzy to Survivor Ponderosa as the second member of the jury.

CBS has released the video of his Survivor Ponderosa experience as he heads into the unknown; a trip away from the game as early as he’s ever experienced. In the video, we learn that he’s lost 15 pounds in 24 days’ worth of gameplay; quite a significant amount of weight loss, all things considered.

If there’s something that Ozzy laments, it’s not being able to play with a group of players that appreciate the survival aspect of the game. First played the game during Survivor Cook Islands, on season 13. In many ways, his game plan has never left those islands, as he still seems to think that catching fish and providing for your tribe is enough to keep you in the game more than ten years later.

Hali was quick to greet him at Survivor Ponderosa, as Ozzy beelined towards the Coronas before sitting down for lunch. The next day was about getting back into the swing of things, as the restaurateur went to a local Fijian market to get ingredients to make some ceviche, showing off a bit of his growth as a person.

We may not see Ozzy playing in another season for a long time, but at the very least, he should be a lively presence at Survivor Ponderosa as players continue to make their exits. Even outside of the game, he looked to put himself in the provider role for Hali, so I can only imagine what kind of food-and-drink-based shenanigans will go on in future weeks.
