The charitable actions of others do not indicate more than their wish to be charitable, despite what people think of Sarah Lacina and Survivor Game Changers.

There are certain types of fans that watch Survivor. Some just like to see the competition and survival aspects, others like to unwind and watch something entertaining without thinking about it too much. Personally, I’m one of those fans that watch Survivor Game Changers and looks for all of its clues that indicate who may win it all ahead of time. So far, per the Survivor edgic, Sarah Lacina, Brad Culpepper, Sierra Dawn Thomas and maybe Cirie Fields could win this season.

However, people are willing to go beyond the game and look at potential spoilers through the actions of others, even if they are a tad misguided.

Yesterday evening, Sarah Lacina took to Twitter to offer up her charitable contribution to Hearts of Reality 2017 in support of Give Kids The World Village. She offered up her wallet in a huge way by stating she would match each individual donation in up to $50 in support of the cause.

No good deed goes unpunished, however, as there was speculation immediately in both the tweet and on other social media sites that she had won Survivor Game Changers. The entirety of the dots being connected was “this player offered up, potentially, a few hundred or thousand dollars in a public fashion, therefore she has to have won the million-dollar prize.”

There’s just one problem with that thinking; Sarah Lacina already offered the exact same type of charitable support for both Give Kids The World Village and Hearts of Reality back in 2015. “Please donate to Hearts of Reality,” her Facebook post said. “Give kids the world… I’m matching donations up to $50!!!”

So there you have it; people are capable of being charitable without having become millionaires. Sarah Lacina giving money to charity in a big way doesn’t mean she won Survivor Game Changers. Even if the editors go out of their way to make her look like a hero, give her ten confessionals this past episode and others insist she’s been playing exactly how Tony Vlachos played in his game-winning Cagayan season.
