Episode 11 photos for Survivor: Game Changers tell a fascinating story
Survivor: Game Changers’ eleventh episode airs this week, but the photos reveal more than just who will play in which portions of the reward challenge.
Ahead of Survivor: Game Changers returning to television screens tomorrow night, it’s time once again to look at the photos released for “Reinventing How This Game is Played.” We’ve picked out some of the most interesting from the full set.
Let’s start with who features in the camp shots:
Both Andrea and Cirie look mildly surprised by what’s going on. Who’s that on the left side of the frame? Just judging on the tiny amount of hair and the color and pattern of the person’s shirt, we think it’s Sierra. Notably, Andrea is also looking up at whoever this mystery person is, and Sierra’s one of the tallest castaways left.
Brad looks to be some combination of sad and pensive in this photo. If Sierra really is having conversations with Andrea and Cirie, that’s a reason to be concerned.
Again, it’s tough to positively identify who exactly Andrea’s talking to here, but it’s someone who isn’t much taller than her and is probably a woman based on the clean-shaven cheek we have here. This person’s hair is pulled back, and he or she has freckles. The most likely candidate here is Sarah.
Andrea’s going to have approximately all of the conversations this episode, if the photos are going to be believed. There’s at least one more person in this conversation, just judging by the way Andrea is facing, but it’s unclear who it may be.
Tai and Zeke get to talk, too! This is interesting. Is Zeke going to play with Tai’s alliance, or is Zeke trying to flip Tai?
Jeff Probst is ushering in our analysis of the challenge photos, starting with the reward challenge. This week’s preview gave us the details on the parameters, but now it’s time to see teams.
Team Orange consists of Sierra, Michaela, Troyzan, Tai, and Cirie. Simple deduction means we know who’s on the other side, but for the sake of confirmation:
There’s Zeke, Sarah, Aubry, and Andrea pulling Brad up for Team Blue.
Taken in tandem with the photo of Team Orange, it’s obvious that the puzzle portion of the reward is a three-person affair. Presumably, people will be able to switch out if they’re not getting anywhere.
In our analysis of the 20-second preview, we guessed that this would be the return of the challenge to line up tiles in such a way that they’d hit something.
It’s nice to be right, is all we’re saying.
As you can see here if you look behind and to the left of Tai, there’s an apparatus that means the players will need to step carefully. Probst also has a fancy dais he can use to observe everything and thus provide his running commentary.
