With loved ones on the line, words of encouragement may power the Survivor Game Changers episode 12 players enough to survive tribal council tonight.

Welcome to the ninth edition of Surviving Tribal! Since the beginning of Survivor Game Changers, three writers have made fake bets on betting odds I made up with a fake starting bankroll of $500, guessing who will go home each week.

In last week’s edition of Surviving Tribal, I essentially made some bets on people who my colleagues didn’t pick and got lucky with Zeke Smith. This week will be a lot easier to guess who will go home with just six players left to eliminate before the final tribal council, meaning the betting odds are a lot tighter.

I’ve got a fair lead going into Survivor Game Changers episode 12, but with a lot of money on the line, the positions can change in an instant!

Sierra Dawn-Thomas – 3/2 (Cheryl: $100)

With the majority alliance slipping out from under Sierra and Brad’s control, the two are the top targets this week. Sierra has the lowest odds this week because she’s been the ire of others more than Brad has been. She’s got the more negative edit in recent episodes.

Brad Culpepper – 2/1 (Daniel: $75)

Brad is still someone who needs to go home in order for the majority five to prevail, but he has a couple of factors that may save him over Sierra. He’s great friends with several of those in the majority, meaning they might take him out after Sierra. He may convince Tai to use an idol on him. He also has a strong immunity chance. Either way, it’s still mostly between him and Sierra.

Andrea Boehlke – 3/1 (Cody: $100, Daniel: $100)

Andrea was stuck between a rock and a hard place last week. She enters Survivor Game Changers episode 12 as the ringleader of an alliance that is five strong against four, meaning she will likely be the target of opposing votes if either, A) someone (Sarah is the likeliest) flips over to the minority, or B) if someone uses an idol in the minority.

Michaela Bradshaw – 7/2 (Cheryl: $50, Cody: $50)

It’s unfortunate, but Michaela has a negative perception about her all season. She’s a strong challenge competitor, though, and could be argued as a voting target by the minority if they plan on using an idol on a target. That way, the minority protects themselves from a possible majority alliance idol and target someone who (somehow) annoys everyone in camp.

Cirie Fields – 4/1 (Cody: $50)

Surprisingly modest, Cirie mentioned that she felt Zeke knew more about the game his second time playing Survivor than she did in her fourth time. That kind of confession normally comes back to haunt a player, and nobody will want to sit beside Cirie in the final tribal council if they want to win. Still, the majority cannot afford to lose their numbers.

Sarah Lacina – 5/1

Officer Sarah has been dancing between two sides so far, putting herself in a position where both sides come to her for a favor. She’s truly playing like a criminal and can play this episode in favor of the majority or the minority by voting for either. She won’t likely be targeted, but if she falls victim to her Cagayan wishy-washy ways, she may be targeted for being too shady.

Aubry Bracco – 6/1 (Cheryl: $20, Cody: $25)

Aubry has been invisible in Survivor Game Changers (with the exception of GIF-bait reaction imagery). If you start to get her perspective in the game right about now, I would suspect she’s going home. However, with no shot at winning, she’s in an odd place where she may coast by into the final tribal council as a goat. Very different from her should-have-won season in Kaoh Rong.

Troyzan Robertson – 10/1

More from Season 34 Game Changers

Somehow, Troyzan has been more invisible since an episode before the merge than Aubry, and an epic idol grab at a tribal immunity challenge is the only episode where he’s developed any sense of character arc. There’s no way he doesn’t use an idol if he feels like he’s in danger, but he’s in “final tribal goat” territory, too.

Tai Trang – 14/1

This is the most interesting position for Tai in the post-merge game. There are few opportunities for him to play his two idols, and he received votes from everyone else in his minority alliance. He’s more likely to use one now, and he could seriously be a game changer if he plans to be chaotic with them.
