Literally just holding a ball in the air using two sticks, Survivor Game Changers episode 12 shows the natural de-evolution of the immunity challenge.

This article will discuss the events of the immunity challenge for Survivor Game Changers episode 12, “It’s Not a High Without a Low.”

32 days deserted on an island is enough to deplete anyone of their emotional, physical, and mental strength. It’s a miracle that people are capable of competing in challenges under those conditions, although the season is called Survivor Game Changers for a reason.

With the Loved Ones reward challenge leaving four players behind back at camp, the wheels were in motion to vote out Andrea with the help of Brad Culpepper. That made the Survivor Game Changers episode 12 Immunity Challenge, “Can’t Buoy Me Love,” that much more important, as an ill-timed misplay could result in one player going home.

The challenges for this season so far have all incorporated designs that at least one player is familiar with, and this challenge of “hold up an object with two sticks while balancing on a narrow beam” is vague enough to make me believe that every player participating in the challenge has done it before. Seriously, we need more newbie seasons just to get fresh challenges being built.

More from Season 34 Game Changers

Within a few seconds of the Immunity Challenge starting, Aubry Bracco’s ball slipped away, leaving her the first out of this challenge. Sierra Dawn Thomas followed closely behind her. It took a brief moment before Andrea Boehlke, Sarah Lacina, Cirie Fields and Troyzan Robertson came tumbling down in about a 30-second time span.

It seemed like only Brad Culpepper, Michaela Bradshaw and Tai Trang were really ready to compete in this Immunity Challenge, as it took 18 more minutes before we got to see any further signs of weakness. Michaela lost the sides of her ball and Tai suffered the same fate moments later, leaving Brad Culpepper as our Immunity Challenge winner.
