Having played a more passive game in Worlds Apart, Survivor Game Changers’ Sierra Dawn Thomas heads to Survivor Ponderosa happy with her game.

Despite making it all the way to 5th place in her first season, Sierra Dawn Thomas did not play the game as hard as she did in Survivor Game Changers. She was sitting pretty atop an alliance that was poised to get to the Final 6, was in the middle of conversations about who to vote out and her game was respected by both legends and great players. Survivor Ponderosa came for her early.

With a 6-3 vote, Sierra was sent to Survivor Ponderosa in 9th place as the keystone 5th member of a (likely) 10-person jury. With 32 days on the island taking its toll, Sierra Dawn Thomas was happy that it’s all over if it meant she can finally get something to eat. CBS has uploaded her Ponderosa video earlier today, detailing her mindset as she was voted out.

She had a very good reason to have that in mind; she lost 20 pounds in 32 days, serving as the current Survivor Game Changers record for both total weight loss and body weight percentage lost. You’re not supposed to lose that much weight that quickly, so the jury members prepped necessary grilled cheeses, steak, pizza and all the fixin’s.

In all seriousness, though, everyone was fairly nice to Sierra when she made it to Survivor Ponderosa, where she spilled the beans about the Legacy Advantage. Only Zeke Smith had the knowledge of it possibly existing due to his gameplay on Millennials vs. Gen X, and Sierra even had doubts about if she gave it to the right person.

It’s always great to see jury members be, at least, cordial with each other when they hit Survivor Ponderosa, and Hali Ford wasn’t all too bitter about Sierra orchestrating her exit on both of her seasons. Still, she was fairly blunt about her gameplay, showing that the Dirty 30 aren’t as tight as once thought. Regardless, Sierra took solace in just how much she changed as a player, and as a person, during this game.
