Survivor Season 35 will return in its regular time slot
CBS has released their 2017-2018 primetime schedule, with Survivor Season 35 sitting pretty in its usual 8 p.m. ET time slot.
It’s upfronts week in La La Land, with broadcast networks and cable companies pitching their upcoming Fall television shows and schedules to advertisers ahead of time so they can buy up advertising blocks before these shows debut. While Survivor needs not worry about that due to its ratings dominance, it is interesting to know when Survivor Season 35 will actually appear on the schedule.
CBS has released their total 2017-2018 primetime schedule, revealing that Survivor Season 35 will return to its usual 8-9 p.m. ET television slot. It will be followed by a brand new show, Seal Team, which is “A drama about an elite team of Navy SEALs starring Bones‘ David Boreanaz and Bates Motel’s Max Thieriot.” That will run from 9-10 p.m. ET, while current Survivor following program, Criminal Minds, will move to the 10 p.m. time slot.
Interesting to note is that Survivor Season 35 will be the only reality show CBS currently has scheduled for the Fall season. The Amazing Race, which usually starts up again in mid-November, will likely take over for a show canceled early on, meaning some shuffling of the schedule is likely to take place.
