Knowing she was likely to be voted out before the end of Survivor Game Changers, Aubry arrives at Survivor Ponderosa with a range of emotions.

I’m a little bit bummed at the edit Aubry Bracco received in Survivor Game Changers. Considering she was on the outs for the majority of the big votes throughout the season, the number of eliminated partners she’s had proves just how strong a competitor she was. Still, she headed to Survivor Ponderosa in fifth place for her efforts, and the effects of the game were clear as day.

CBS has posted the final videos for the members who hit up Survivor Ponderosa over the game’s final few days, including Aubry. This is uncharted territory for her, as she has never visited here as a jury member prior to Survivor Game Changers.

After going through medicals to check up on her health, Aubry visited the other jury members. She was viewed as an underdog by the jury, and was brought to tears over reconnecting with Cirie Fields (who had exited the game the night before her). It was a great chance for Aubry to connect with the jury as people, not as players, as her spot in the underbelly of minority votes meant a lot of gameplay isolation.

More from Season 34 Game Changers

Even Michaela, who Aubry didn’t connect with too well, noted that Aubry was just dealt a bad hand this time around. She’s shown to evolve her game since her runner-up season, showing her true self to most players on the season she played with and opened up with the raw emotional side of herself in an awe-inspiring way.

Aubry has one of the better Survivor Ponderosa videos not because she was some sort of mastermind in the game who had a supreme downfall, but because we could see her at her truest sense, not putting up a strong guard after so many emotional losses within Survivor Game Changers.
