Survivor Game Changers pre-jury trip pictures posted online
It’s rare to see what the pre-jury players are up to when they leave Ponderosa. Survivor Game Changers’ first seven boots look like they had a great time.
The thing about Survivor is that there is only one winner per season. No matter how good your social, strategic or survival gameplay happens to be, things have to break right for you to become the Sole Survivor and win the million-dollar check. For seven players in Survivor Game Changers, that meant getting sent back to Ponderosa before the merge.
Those seven players can’t stay around once the jury arrives, however, as they would impact the Final Tribal Council gameplay with their existence. For the most part, they can’t go home, either, as their presence in their traditional locations would be a spoiler indicator for the world at large. That’s why pre-jury players often go on trips to neighboring locations, often to places where people wouldn’t recognize them as Survivor players.
Jeff Varner was the last person to join the pre-jury group, and they were crucial in his self-shaming recovery after his horrific, shortsighted, foolish personal attack on Zeke Smith. That said, he owned his mistake and didn’t let it dwell on him during his pre-jury trip through Vietnam, as he posted some photos on his Facebook page.
Survivor's most epic pre-jury group venturing through Vietnam. This is a group of losers I will forever love. They started without me. I joined along the way.

With Jeff Varner is Ciera Eastin, Tony Vlachos, Caleb Reynolds, Malcolm Freberg, J.T. Thomas and Sandra Diaz-Twine, in ascending Survivor Game Changers elimination order. These photos are fantastic, as you get to peer into the mindsets of the players shortly after they leave the game under varying circumstances.
Whether it’s posing outside some bikes, drinking Vietnamese beer, Sandra and Malcolm embracing, standing near some excellent mountainous landscape, learning to cook, getting ready to go on another plane or visiting traditional structures, there are a lot of neat things the Survivor Game Changers pre-jury players got to see.

Considering CBS All Access lets fans look into the Survivor Ponderosa experience for the jury members, I’m surprised we don’t get to see what the early boots get up to in their trips around the world.
