Survivor Game Changers: Each player’s big game-changing moment
Cirie Fields – Going home without a vote all season
A big element of Cirie’s game in Survivor Game Changers, admittedly, is luck. She was the only player to make it to the merge without having to face Tribal Council, meaning she wasn’t voted out in an opportunity to make the tribe stronger. The animosity teased between Ozzy and Cirie Fields was quashed when he was voted out, and she found herself pulling strings from behind the scenes.
As much as Andrea was calling the shots, it was her who was whipping the votes and mentoring Michaela, effectively building a power alliance. She continued to show perseverance through the toughest times, including making it through a grueling Reward Challenge that inspired others. Cirie was the player that got up off the couch and made something of herself, earning the second-most days played in the game for her efforts.
Unfortunately, at the Final 6 Tribal Council, “Advantagegedon” drew to a close. Sarah Lacina played the Legacy Advantage, Tai played an idol for himself and Aubry, Troyzan played an Immunity Idol for himself, and Brad had the Immunity Necklace on. In addition, Cirie had no votes. Despite that fact, because nobody else was eligible for votes, Cirie Fields made history as the only player to go home because production lost control of their own game.
