Survivor Game Changers: Each player’s big game-changing moment
Sarah Lacina – Voting out Sierra while securing her Legacy Advantage
You Survivor Game Changers winner, Sarah Lacina, made a ton of great moves in this season. A big reason she could get away with almost anything is due to her social gameplay, something that you can’t really pick up when watching her “I just saw a ghost”-like confessionals.

That social gameplay proved to be very important when Sierra Dawn Thomas knew she was on the outs, revealing she had a Legacy Advantage. Not only that, but she also said she would give her advantage to Sarah should she be voted out, starting up the countdown to Sierra’s elimination.
However, knowing a bonus power was within grasp, Sarah had to convince Sierra to still give her the Legacy Advantage. Sarah called Sierra her “It girl,” told her she loved her and, ultimately, sent her home packing by pretending she didn’t know the vote’s outcome.

By doing so, Sarah Lacina secured the Legacy Advantage, allowing her to play it at Final 6. Had she not played that advantage, she would have gone home with three votes, possibly allowing Tai and Troyzan to hold onto their idols and creating an entirely different Advantagegedon altogether. More importantly, Sarah Lacina would not have won Survivor Game Changers. It was the game-changing moment of the season.
