Ozzy Lusth – Championing Brad at the Final Tribal Council

Survivor Game Changers always sought was to change the dynamics of the game with its twists, and one final change may have had a profound difference to how players will angle their future end-game strategies.

Jeff Probst revealed to Brad Culpepper, Troyzan Robertson and Sarah Lacina that the Final Tribal Council would enjoy more of an open forum. Instead of jury members, one by one, questioning the players uninterrupted or making a grandiose speech, the jury would discuss the outwit, outplay and outlast aspects of each players’ game.

Breaking convention of a back-and-forth, Ozzy Lusth instead championed Brad Culpepper, valuing his presence in the game as a provider and challenge beast. He took it upon himself to stand up for a player that pretty much mirrored his exact gameplay style over four seasons, voting for himself via Brad as a proxy.

It was a fascinating move, something that may have helped Brad gather an extra vote or two in the end. It may not have won Brad the game, but Ozzy made a profound impact on jury management.
