Where can you watch old seasons of Survivor online?

To help you get through the Survivor off-season, here’s a guide to finding old seasons of the show online — though your options might be limited with some.

Even though Survivor will be back on our screens in just over three months’ time, with a Sept. 27 return date for Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, fans don’t have to go an entire summer without the show. Of course, that entails watching old seasons of Survivor again. However, as my colleague notes, this show has been on the air for 17 years. Even if you’ve never missed a season, you might not remember every single detail of every single episode.

Fortunately, Survivor is pretty easy to find on online sources. Here’s a guide to the major ones.

CBS All Access

If you want to watch all 500+ episodes of Survivor, the only paid subscription you’ll need is CBS All Access, which starts with “limited commercials” plan, although you can pay more to skip commercials. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the best layout ever, so that can be a bit of a drawback (ditto with the commercials). Because this is CBS’ own subscription, the odds are incredibly low that you’ll be cut off from Survivor. (You can find old I Love Lucy episodes on there, so you don’t have to worry.)

Amazon Prime

Those who have subscribed to Amazon Prime get the added benefit of access to its large library of TV, which includes some of Survivor. As of this writing, seasons 1, 3, and then 12-28 are all free to watch with Prime Video. Additionally, you have the option to purchase episodes from seasons 9-11 and 29-34. Of course, this can change, but for now, it’s pretty steady, and Amazon has a pretty nice layout — and no commercials.

Amazon also sells DVD and Blu-Ray versions of most seasons of the show.

Hulu

Hulu is kind of the middle ground between Amazon and CBS. On the one hand, it has commercials unless you upgrade to the non-commercials plan. On the other, it has more seasons than Amazon Prime’s free options does, although not in a perfect overlap. No, with Hulu, you’ll have access to season 1, and then seasons 12-31, inclusive. There isn’t an option to purchase other seasons, either.

iTunes

If you have any of Apple’s devices, you can pick up seasons 1234 at different prices.

However, access to just one of these options leaves you with plenty of Survivor material to help you make it to Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers this fall.
