24 contestants from down under, with ages ranging from 20 to 51, will compete on Australian Survivor 2017 down in the islands of Samoa.

With Network Ten acquiring the rights to broadcast Australian Survivor, the community at large has embraced the show’s grueling outwit, outplay and outlast game. Australian Survivor 2017, aka Season 2 (but the fourth season of the show that Australia has produced overall) aims for a 55-day marathon on Upolu Island of Samoa, with 24 castaways competing for A$500,000.

Network Ten has released the bios for the Australian Survivor 2017 full cast, complete with names, ages, professions and regions of Australia from which they originate. Noting that the tribes will be broken down into two teams of twelve, there are certain thematic theories that Australian Survivor could end up using. For one, you could argue that 12 of these contestants make money primarily using their hands, as well as differences in “Haves” and “Have-Nots.” Some of these contestants hint at rough moments growing up, hinting at some sort of personal redemption theme.
