3. Nate Gonzalez

Yours truly wants to see Nate play again for some of the same reasons I want to see Adam play again. He has a nice social game. At the Final Tribal Council, he basically read the dynamics of the game, which yours truly commented on, even if he did end up not voting for the winner. (He voted for Ozzy instead.)

Most interestingly, he built a connection with Ozzy, one that may very well have changed the course of the game if the rest of the Aitu Four hadn’t swayed Jonathan over and allowed him to target Nate in order to secure his vote.

Additionally, Aitu actually kidnapped him and then didn’t let him play in the next reward challenge at all (which Probst basically explained for viewers at the time), a nod to how well-rounded his game was at the time, even if it didn’t actually get him very far in the end.

Second, as you can see in the above video, Nate really did get blindsided, and those kinds of players often come back with something to prove. Making it to the merge is still no joke, and if he came back, he’d have a nice benchmark to play against.
