2. Becky Lee

Remember how we put Sundra on this list, and said that she could have a great redemptive moment? Becky would not necessarily have the same moment, but that doesn’t mean that she couldn’t have a very interesting perspective on the fire-making challenge that, as we argued in our discussion of the Cook Islands finale, basically tanked her game.

Like we discussed with Nate, Becky in her second game would likely come in trying to make a point. After all, though she made a fairly decent case for herself at the Final Tribal Council, she received no votes.

Any attempts to prove that she deserved her spot 11 years ago and to establish herself as a player of the game could end up going very badly for her, but she called her own game “conservative” at the Final Tribal, and I think that a similar game would probably also take her fairly far, leaving her room to possibly open it up later and play aggressively when it would really count (say, in front of the jury).

Her problem would be being overshadowed. “Coattails” is not a word you want to hear in the context of your own game, so she would need to strike a balance between careful and bold play to really make a splash in a second attempt at Survivor.
