Melisandre – 3rd in Survivor: Game of Thrones
Being a subject to the Lord of Light, Melisandre is a lot more dynamic a player than you would think. She has a commanding presence that makes people listen to her, and she tells people exactly what they want to hear. It’s all under the guise of doing her god’s work, yet in the world of Survivor, anytime you make promises that don’t work out, people will remember it.
Despite making the Final Tribal Council, Melisandre would be questioned repeatedly about all the times she promised safety for others if they joined her Lord of Light Alliance. She’s proven to be resourceful, but also staunchly defensive of her misreads as if it was part of a greater plan all you want. That’s fine to believe in outside of Game of Thrones or Survivor, but in the latter, the jury will not like half-baked answers.
Melisandre has an inner strength to her, especially for her advanced age. I’m sure she’d be a well-rounded competitor and natural survivor (she can make more than just fire without a flint and steel), but by burning bridges with the likes of Stannis (first on jury) and Sansa (last on jury), in addition to standing by her game indiscretions, she wouldn’t likely receive a vote beyond Daenerys, if even her.
