While it’s not a full cast assessment just yet, Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers host Jeff Probst tells the fans at home who to watch out for.

Yesterday, CBS did what bloggers have been showcasing for months by officially revealing the cast for Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. In addition, we got to see their cast photos for the first time, a brief bio of their hometowns, occupations and interests, plus video interviews on the CBS Survivor YouTube channel. Everyone has a skewed vision of themselves, however, so you need a seasoned pro like Jeff Probst to pick the cream of the crop right out the gate.

Entertainment Weekly has posted a video of Jeff Probst breaking down the key players of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers that fans should be paying close attention to when the season premieres on September 27.

Trying not to look too hard into promotional videos, but this one was shot while Probst and the crew were preparing for season 36 (aka Ghost Island), so logically, him mentioning players to watch for may inadvertently be considered spoilers. View at your own discretion.

Off the bat, Probst name-drops “Dr. Mike” first as a player Survivor fans should be looking out for. In addition to cracking jokes and urologist puns, he’s apparently good at playing down his intelligence. Also on the Healers tribe getting recognition is Desiree Williams, noting that she causes a bit of a stir in contrast to her inner personality as a doctor of physical therapy.

Ben Driebergen, Chrissy Hofbeck and Alan Ball are recognized from the Heroes tribe in different ways. Obviously Ben will get recognition for his service as a Marine, but Chrissy and Alan’s designation as heroes come from “Supermom” status of Chrissy and Alan’s strife through making it through the NFL.

To close out players in Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers that Jeff Probst thinks you should pay attention to is Patrick Bolton (embodiment of hustle as an owner of a moving company), Ryan Ulrich (quick-witted bellhop) and Ali Elliott (intelligent, cute and not afraid to flirt as a strategy). All in all, if Jeff Probst is ready to give them teaser recognition, I wouldn’t be surprised if the eight players mentioned go far this season.
