There’s a little bit too much camaraderie between certain members of the Survivor season 35 cast, especially with certain words and phrases used.

Warning: This post will go into social media speculation about the events of Survivor season 35: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.

We’re not two episodes in, and it seems like the castaways of Survivor season 35 are showing off just how chummy things are roughly half a year after filming Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.

It’s unfair to say that the castaways shouldn’t be allowed to hang out after they’ve undergone a unique situation that just a few hundred people in the world have experienced. That said, players like Cole Medders have been dropping mad hints about how close he is with certain other castaways, making it easier for hardcore fans of the show to start playing cyber detective.

In an Instagram post from yesterday, Cole insists he and Mike Zahalsky are “brothers till the end!” While this can be passed off as fellow castaways reminiscing over early days of talking about Game of Thrones on the Healers tribe, when you combine social media posts like that and official press photos from episode 1 showing the two mid-bro-fist, you can infer that the two have a stronger bond than we’ve seen so far.

Cole Medders has been a gold mine for Survivor season 35 speculation, especially as he poses for “Totem Cole” photos with Desi Williams, Ali Elliott, Jessica Johnston and Roark Luskin last Saturday. Roark being there makes the most sense, as she lives in the LA area and is on the same starting tribe as him. Potential showmance Jessica and Desi from a hometown in Georgia (living in Virginia) making their way to LA, plus Ali from the Hustlers tribe, making things interesting.

With Dr. Mike posting that same press photo fist bump, Devon Pinto joining up, Ashley Nolan meeting up with Mike and Jay Starrett and plenty of other fun tidbits, the Survivor season 35 cast is playing things a lot looser than people who signed non-disclosure agreements would usually do. With the possibility of playing into the fans’ minds, it’s all fun and games.

Until you’re straight-up dropping hints that a positive edit will get negative in a future episode.
