Warning: This article will discuss the events of Survivor season 35 episode 2, “I’m a Wild Banshee” in great detail.

As 17 players dwindle down to 16 and more partnerships start to form on the island, Survivor season 35 is about to heat up! As such, former players have been tweeting up a storm, trying to get their hot takes and jokes in before others can make them.

Some are fired up from the start!

Meanwhile, Chrissy lets the viewers at home know that she has an awesome-looking decoy idol that she can play at a later date. Looks like I was right in my assumption all along; she does have something up her sleeve.

Others were busy with calling Alan out on his crazy moves.

It’s a day of the week that ends in “y,” so it’s time for yet another Ryan Ulrich confessional. He doubled down on his partnership with Devon, something that should keep him in the game for some time.

Finally, Simone got to speak on Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. HusltersOf course, it was to talk about taking an aqua dump and hating the outside; a perfect recipe for disaster.

Meanwhile, at the Healers camp, Cole Medders is pretending that Jessica Johnston, being almost 30, will see him as a little kid, hence the apprehension in creating a showmance.

Joe puts himself in an ironic twist of fate by having to hide looking for an idol after decrying Mike for doing the same, so he runs around the island like he’s Tony Vlachos. He even brings Cole into the fold, who seems to have everything going for him in Survivor season 35 episode 2! However, Cole lets Joe know how to read an idol clue, letting someone else get the idol.

Circling back to the Hustlers tribe, Patrick Bolton is fighting a crab like a maniac and is, in general, being platinum extra with just about everything to the point that Lauren can’t really handle it anymore.

As the swimming and puzzle Immunity Challenge began, it was clear that the Healers have trouble swimming while the Hustlers have trouble hustling. Meanwhile, signs of Survivor seasons past brought up some fond memories.

With the Hustlers failing, they needed to send someone home. The aqua-dumper or the crab fighter were sent out to slaughter first.

In the end, it was Simone Nguyen who was sent home second in 17th place.

Survivor season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, will return next Wednesday, October 11 at 8 p.m. ET with episode 3, “My Kisses Are Very Private.” With a title like that, you are no doubt going to hear some more hot takes from former players next week!
