The second juror of Survivor Ponderosa in season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers makes their way out of the game and into a hamburger (and pizza).
From a logical perspective, it made sense to vote out Cole Medders in 10th place and as the second member of Survivor Ponderosa for season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. At that time in the game, the Healers are getting picked off one by one and he was a challenge threat. He won last week, but couldn’t win this weak against Lauren Rimmer. Seven votes went his way as a result.
He wasn’t much of a strategic mastermind this season, with most of his edit focusing on Jessica or eating food. Thankfully, the Survivor Ponderosa experience is all about getting you fed after starving yourself for weeks on end, and food is the prime focus for Cole Medders’ bonus video this week.
Cole was met by Desi at the resort and, knowing he loves peanut butter and orange pop (not soda, pop), the king and queen of Survivor Ponderosa set things off right. I’m not sure how those two items are secrets to healthy living, but after eating a pizza, fries and a hamburger, half of this video is focused just on eating food. That’s the Cole Medders experience, all right!
Interestingly enough, after a good night’s rest, this video showed something rarely displayed during a Survivor Ponderosa clip; why someone was voted out. They were talking about the 4-4-1-1 split for Cole to convince Desi he didn’t vote her out. It’s so outside the realm of possibility that somebody didn’t vote someone else out that Lauren still got away with her Secret Advantage play.

We also got to see a more adventurous side of Desi as Cole took her for a rock-climbing, waterfall-posing adventure. It’s right up his alley as a wilderness therapy guide, and it makes for a fun time for the viewer. Cole Medders is clearly a well-liked individual as indicated by his exit, but so much of his edit focused on why his negative camp behavior overruled his positives.
