Survivor season 35 power rankings after episode 10 and 11
#4. Ben Driebergen
Ben has put himself in a weird position with his flip. Part of the Lauren’s Reward Alliance of four, he agreed to her plan to make a flip on the Round Table and vote out their intended target. Later, he agreed to Devon’s plans to act shocked as if he didn’t want to vote against JP, ensuring himself a false sense of security with Chrissy and Ryan in order to get intel from within.
Now the cat’s out of the bag with Joe’s elimination and voted publically against Chrissy and Ryan, Ben’s in a weird position in the game. Both Lauren and Ashley admit they’d vote him out due to how great a player he is and how awesome his story is as a Marine to present to the jury in a Final Tribal Council situation. Furthermore, he’s now resented by Chrissy and Ryan for sabotaging them.
It makes sense why he’s making a fake idol to complement his real Hidden Immunity Idol; he knows that he’s likely one of the next to be targeted. There’s no bigger threat to win in the game than Ben, planting a solid target on his back. There’s a chance he could not use an idol on himself if he gives Devon a fake idol and socially engineers a target on somebody else and everyone else goes along with it.
