#3. Chrissy Hofbeck

The longer Chrissy stays in the game, the more she looks like someone most players want to sit beside at the Final Tribal Council. Looking at the jury as it stands, there’s no way that Desi, Cole, Joe or Lauren vote for Chrissy just based on how she treats others as they’re on the way out of the game, and the other players in the game have to be keeping track of that, too.

Most importantly in the way the game looks right now, people can rally around Chrissy in an effort to get Ben out of the game. While other players are better at taking a misstep with grace, everyone knows that Chrissy is out for blood and wants to end Ben’s game. If she’s able to take the heat for that decision, she can work with Ryan and Mike, at worst, to make it happen.

Another thing to note is that “Next Time on” preview saw Chrissy tell Mike and someone else (likely Ryan) that she wants to send home Ashley. The fact that she’s in a position to throw out names of players to be eliminated shows she’s not in as weak a place as we once thought.
