#1. Devon Pinto

I should be more cautious about Devon’s behavior this late in the game, but it’s hard not to feel like Devon sits alone atop the Survivor power rankings. His control in the game is unquestionable, his social game is the best of all players remaining and he hasn’t done anything to make anyone mad.

If the Immunity Challenge proved anything, it’s that Devon feels safe enough to give up Individual Immunity in exchange for a back rub from his closest confidant left in the game. That’s his downfall if anything; it was so dumb to make his partnership with Ashley so obvious, as it looked like a Big Brother barter for Head of Household, let alone anything else.

The fact that Devon is getting a lot more confident in his position of power in Survivor season 35 suggests that either he or Ashley is going home, but the fact that Ashley is the one who’s having her name thrown out suggests that Devon will be safe this week.

He’s vastly underrated in the eyes of the players playing the game, even though he’s been slowly, but surely, making moves behind the scenes to ensure a resume worthy of a million dollars. If he makes this week, I think he makes it to Day 39, at the least.
