David Wright, Millennials v. Gen X

I’ll be the first one to admit that I initially wrote David off. After his poor performance in the first set of challenges and being scared of literally everything, I was certain the nerdy TV writer was destined for an early send-off. However, as the game progressed, David found his footing and had one of the most astonishing and entertaining transformations in Survivor history.

After cementing his alliance with Ken, David helped remove Gen X top dog Paul and found two Hidden Immunity Idols. His game continued to gain traction following the merge, despite losing one of his closest allies to the dreaded rock draw. Despite this setback, David rallied new troops and began to take out the opposing alliance before finally being blindsided at the Final Four for being too big of a threat. David left the game as one of the best rookies to play in recent memory and would be a fantastic addition to a Fans v. Favorites season.

While his reputation might paint him as a big threat early on, his strong social game might allow him to garner the trust of fellow returnees.
