Kelley Wentworth, San Juan del Sur & Second Chances
Truth be told, when the former players were announced for Second Chances, I couldn’t quite remember who Kelley Wentworth was. After the season, I can now never forget her name.
Wentworth entered Second Chances wanting to play the game free from the pressure of working with her dad, Dale, who played with her on San Juan del Sur. Wanting to play an aggressive game, Wentworth shot out of the starting gate by finding the first-ever Hidden Immunity Idol present and hidden at a challenge, which she would later use to blindside powerhouse Andrew Savage. While Wentworth continuously found herself in the minority, her strength in challenges and her ability to manipulate the majority alliance to blindside each other allowed her to make it all the way to Day 38, where she was voted out one day short of the Final Tribal Council.
Despite falling short, Wentworth accomplished her goal of changing her gameplay and became a fan favorite who wasn’t afraid to make big moves and play the game hard. Utilizing her strategic savvy, Wentworth would be a real threat to win the game if she returned for a Fans v. Favorites season.
