One of the original members of the Fab Five alliance, Baylor Wilson from Survivor San Juan del Sur turns 24 years old today.

Normally, Survivor recruits don’t go into the game prepared with the knowledge or information about the game’s intricacies before going through the casting process. However, San Juan del Sur was sure unlike most other seasons of the show, as players would either face off against (or later team up with) members of their family in the quest to compete for a million dollars. For Baylor Wilson to make it to 5th place and be one of the youngest players ever (let alone her season) was a big accomplishment.

While her edit was mixed with both moments of positivity undercut by her youthful actions in the game, Baylor was very close to getting voted out by Val early in the game. However, as bigger, homophobic fish would fry, Baylor would make it to Day 11 and pair back up with her mother, Missy, who worked together well enough to form the game’s most powerful alliance, the Fab Five.

Baylor was an integral part of that alliance, as she paired with her mom, the Mischs and San Juan del Sur winner Natalie Anderson to run the late game of the season (up to her blindside). The dynamic shared between Baylor and Missy was complicated, but certainly showed their loving affection for one another and the limits of what they were willing to do in order to win the million-dollar prize.

Baylor Wilson continues to sing, making her way through the Nashville music scene as a country performer. For those wishing to keep up to date with her music career, she’s recently started a vlog on the Bay Wil YouTube channel, going through her day-to-day life as an up-and-coming musician.

From us at Surviving Tribal, we’d like to wish Baylor Wilson a very happy 24th birthday!
