Adam Carolla

The ability to make others laugh is a great social tool, especially if you’re doing so in a self-deprecating manner. Adam Carolla, a comedian and podcaster extraordinaire, has an uncanny ability to make people comfortable enough with him so that he can get others to open up in ways they wouldn’t have thought possible. In a game like Celebrity Survivor, that’s a crucial play.

He’s made his way through the reality television show circuit, appearing in Dancing with the Stars and The Celebrity Apprentice, the latter of which means he’s been on a Mark Burnett television program before. That may be enough to get him into a season of celebrities that may be too focused on themselves and their gameplay that he becomes the wise-cracking narrator of tribal events through pointed comedic or sarcastic confessionals.

Sure, he’s not going to be your challenge keystone, holding the tribe together, but Adam Carolla certainly has a way with words and an inquisitive mind. He may be the perfect kind of player to navigate the social dynamics of a celebrity season and make it all the way to the Final Tribal Council.
