Crystal Cox + Kenny Hoang

From the Queen of the (steroids-aided) relay track to the King of Smash came forth one of the most accomplished athletes of their respective concentrations with Crystal Cox and Kenny Hoang from Survivor Gabon. One was a former Olympic gold medalist, the other one of the most prominent Marth players in competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee history; the two played the game of Survivor like fish out of water.

The truest alliance of any group of players in the season, the two offered up bombastic, proud, cocky personalities but showed it in truly different ways. Crystal Cox was outwardly comedic with her approach, calling out others in a public setting and telling people to eat their rice. Kenny, however, emerged from his shell and weaved through tribal alliances while paving a path to the show’s finale episode.

The two of them as a team for The Amazing Race would be interesting due to their worldly experience. Crystal has competed around the world, giving her city familiarity similar to what Team Indy Car has experienced in season 30. Meanwhile, I’ve personally seen Ken playing other fighting games, so if The Amazing Race visits Japan and the teams have to play something similar to Street Fighter V once again, Ken will have the upper hand!
