Survivor competitors: Casting The Amazing Race with 10 Survivor duos
Aubry Bracco + Joe del Campo
Going into Survivor Kaoh Rong, it would be hard to predict that the 29-year-old social media manager and the 72-year-old FBI agent would become one of the closest, most successful allies of the game. It speaks to the resilience of their shared interests, the youthful spirit of Joe and the reasoned strategy of Aubry that showed the limits of the social experiment at play.
Both players counted on each other and trusted each other inherently in a game based on deception. Neither were the strongest or the fastest in the game, but their social and strategic play coming from two very different life perspectives gave audiences a wonderful insight into the wonders this game can provide.
While Survivor has elements of strength and endurance cooked into the game, running around the world as quickly and efficiently as possible from pit stop to pit stop may prove difficult for Joe at age 74. However, his worldly experience combined with Aubry’s dynamic personality would make an interesting team to watch, especially under the stresses of the game.
