Survivor competitors: Casting The Amazing Race with 10 Survivor duos

There’s an undeniable partnership that was born out of Survivor Tocantins that resonates to this day. Both J.T. Thomas and Stephen Fishbach have returned to the island as competitors separately, but never have they ever dominated the competition so hard as when they teamed up to take down Timbira from within alongside Taj in the epic three vs. six clash of the titans.

Despite being so diametrically different from each other in terms of walks of life, both complemented the other supremely. J.T. served as the lovable face for the operation, swaying votes and charming people to join his side, even if it went against opponents’ best interests. Fishbach served as the strategic brains behind the operation, working out moves ahead of time like he was playing chess.

The two would work remarkably well as a team on The Amazing Race because of that factor. Both are fairly fit, capable runners and can tackle U-Turns by knowing each others’ strengths. The two are unshakable in their defenses of each other and know the limits of their capabilities and their stress levels.
