5 things Survivor can learn after Celebrity Big Brother
Older players are interesting due to life experience
You see that person on the left? That ripped muscle man is Brendan Shapiro; an upcoming player in Survivor Ghost Island who has lived a full life before even making it onto the show. He’s found himself running a successful business, throwing away his personal life to chase his dreams, accomplish them then throw them all away to become a physical education teacher in high school during a recession.
He has an understood confidence about him; he has a story to tell. He also happens to be the oldest male of the season at age 41. Not only is he the only player in his 40s, but just two other men are in their 30s this season! Brendan is going to be put into a box whether he likes it or not due to the age disparity, but you’re still drawn to him. He’s here to play!
Celebrity Big Brother had some compelling, interesting, thought-provoking and rootable characters, making for dynamic competition and an uneven, but fairly enjoyable, season. The median age; 44 years old! Compared to the young students of the game and other gamebot-type designations, older players enter the game with easily discernable rough edges that make them stand out from the rest.
