Survivor Ghost Island: 10 predictions of what to expect
Survivor Ghost Island is just hours away from its two-hour premiere! Here are our predictions, expectations and guesses for what will happen this season.
We are so close to the start of Survivor Ghost Island! We’ve covered our first impressions of the 20 castaways set to compete this season, we’ve heard about the dozens of trinkets that will adorn Ghost Island, and we’ve seen just how spooky and scary Tribal Council will be. As such, we have but one last thing to do; offer up our way-too-soon Survivor Ghost Island predictions!
We have ten categories based on elements of Survivor that happen each season, although some options will be more viable with Ghost Island. We know nothing more about what happens than what the castaways tell us about themselves and what the press has revealed with their interviews. Are our guesses fair? No. Are they fun? Absolutely!
Though it may not seem like a fun guess, sometimes the best moments come out of a conflict.
Likeliest to get into the season’s first fight: Desiree Afuye and Chris Noble
From minute one, I’ve pegged Chris as a player who looks to want to take control over his own destiny and gets annoyed when others don’t act based on his whims. In his pet peeves, he refers to himself as the owner of the title of “Most Dramatic,” noting he doesn’t like liars or manipulators.
With Desiree on his tribe, he has a natural opponent in a player who is strong, determined, social and strategic, working hard on making alliances and maintaining relationships. If Chris gets too paranoid and sees Desiree getting chummy with people on the island (as seen in official press photos with Chelsea) and tries to make a snide comment, I could see Desiree stand her ground and set the tone early that she’s not going to take anybody’s nonsense.
The extent of the fight is anyone’s guess!
