39 days, 20 people, one Survivor! The offseason is officially over as CBS reveals the official Survivor Ghost Island cast competing for the million dollars.
The time is now to holster your season 35 hot takes, including those on the Final Four twist and other what-ifs. With the officialSurvivor Ghost Islandcast reveal by CBS today, we can finally look forward to the evolving future of this series and, more specifically, how it will do so by looking at its past.
20 players from all walks of life will come together onSurvivor Ghost Island, competing in a series of challenges that will tempt the fates of bad decisions made by former players throughout the game’s history. Naviti and Malolo represent the purple and orange tribes, respectively, reflecting volcanic islands of the Fijian landscape.

With today’s reveal of theGhost Islandcast, we have official confirmation that this will be the season with the youngest average player age of any 36 seasons in the show’s history. Based on some 2+2=4-1=3 quick maths, the average age of a player is 28 years old, coming in more than two years younger than the averageSurvivor Chinacontestant, who was 30.125 years old.
Regardless, from early looks at pre-interviews, CBS bios and introduction videos, it appears as thoughSurvivor Ghost Islandhas plenty of players who are fans or superfans of the show. Considering the history-based twist of this season and the fact that players will try to reverse the curse of past contestants, we could be in store for a really fun season.
