Survivor Ghost Island: 10 predictions of what to expect
Immunity Challenge comp beast: James Lim
To qualify as a competition threat of Survivor Ghost Island, you need to both stay long enough to make it to the merge, and you need to not become as dominant in the game enough so that you can go on something of a run late into the game’s final stages. James Lim has a quiet confidence about himself, knows enough about how the game works and is physically fit enough to become that kind of player.
The man is a Harvard graduate who competed on the track, proving his worth as a physical Survivor competitor. You can’t be a dum dum to make it to Harvard, either, meaning he will find himself someone to trust and can trust him back while having a good idea of risk assessment in general.
That will keep him long in the game, but once the knives start coming out, it’s James’ physicality that will push him through to the end. I foresee another tragic tale of a player needing to keep themselves in the game by winning comp after comp only to fall short in the end, and James is the player best suited to find that position.
