“One castaway attempts to rekindle relationships after duping their tribe” is all that the synopsis for this episode says, leaving us one ultimate question; who’s the diamond in the rough? Who’s worth lies deep within? Who will understand this Disney musical reference I’m making?
One theory is that Domenick is the diamond in the rough. He’s a construction supervisor salt-of-the-earth kind of guy who has everyone at Naviti on edge right now, as he has been lying about the extent of his powers and advantages within the game. He’s already been rekindling relationships with Laurel and Donathan. Wouldn’t this mean he’d work with Chris to get out an old Malolo?
Another strong theory is that the person in question is not the diamond in the rough, but just Michael Yerger. He lied to five opposing members of his tribe about the extent of his Survivor China idol, effectively duping them. If he has any hopes of surviving Tribal (wink wink) next time around, he’ll need to make some money moves and secure a friendship.
