Survivor Ghost Island’s merge would have been more exciting with Bradley

Survivor Ghost Island will merge the three tribes into one next week, but Bradley Kleihege will not be a part of that after being booted in episode seven.

It’s a shame that Bradley Kleihege will not be partaking in the merge festivities next week, as he was in the making of becoming a truly hated villain. Weeks ago, I covered how Bradley was on his way toward being THE villain of the season. Now, however, we’ve been deprived of that.

It wasn’t shocking that Bradley got the axe in this episode, as the signs were pointing to it since the “Next time on Survivor” promos last week. Once Bradley was shown barking orders at Donathan during the reward challenge, it seemed like another “Bradley outburst” was on the horizon.

Once the tribe got back to their beach, Bradley immediately started getting snippy with everyone. He snapped at Donathan to help him get the table moved, got into it with Chris about the fire, and even got a little sassy with Chelsea after she was asking about how to put the spices on the steak.

Once Naviti lost their second straight challenge, it seemed like a real possibility that Bradley would be the next to go. He continued to be snippy at camp after the challenge, and it appeared that even his alliance mates had no interest in working with him despite the merge coming.

It’s a bummer that Bradley won’t be a part of the merge next week. He was an extremely unlikeable contestant, which we’ve known for weeks, and his cocky demeanor was the biggest part of what made him so unlikable.

Players like Bradley think they know it all and think they’re the smartest one out there, which always makes for a good downfall in the game of Survivor. Had Bradley gotten to the merge, there was no way he would have won with that attitude of his.

Bradley thought he was better and smarter than everyone and sooner or later, that would have gotten him epically blindsided. We still witnessed him getting voted off in the form of a blindside, but there’s just something about those vote-offs happening in the merge that makes them more memorable.

Could you have imagined Bradley on the jury? He would have certainly been one of the more bitter members of the jury, especially depending on how he was eliminated from the game. I’m bummed we’re going to miss out on that, but at the same time, Bradley should be a shoe-in for a future returnees season. Survivor fans should definitely welcome a villain who embraces their role.
